For the one who made us happy

For years, Lionel Messi carried our dreams, our hopes, and also our disappointments. He fell, tried again, and kept choosing the Argentine jersey even when the path seemed too unfair.

Until one day, everything changed.

Alongside a National Team that became a true team again, a coaching staff that built an idea, and a group of people who represented us like few ever have, Leo gifted us with some of the happiest moments in our history.

He made us hug strangers.
Cry in front of a screen.
Go out into the street.
Sing until we lost our voices.
Believe again.

He gave us a happiness impossible to forget.

Each of those moments was etched in millions of people. And that idea was precisely what gave birth to this project.

Every point you see in this experience represents much more than a digital particle.

It represents a person.

Who cried in front of a screen.
Who hugged their family.
Who went out into the street with a flag.
Who felt, even just for a moment, that an entire country was breathing at the same time.

That is why we chose to build this tribute with millions of points. Because, in the end, Lionel Messi was never alone.

He was always accompanied by millions of people who grew up with him, suffered with him, and ended up celebrating with him.

For just ten (10) days, a group of friends, fans, designers, and developers from /nk.studio came together to create an independent tribute: no clients, no commissions, and no other goal than to say thank you.

We built this interactive experience to relive Messi’s last goals with the Argentina National Team in the 2026 World Cup, discover the great achievements of an unrepeatable career, and revisit, from a new visual perspective, moments that are now part of our collective memory.

We turned those plays into a journey built from millions of points that provide depth, movement, and emotion.

We wanted to feel, in a different way, what happened each time the ball went in.

The second of silence before the cheer.
The embrace.
The gaze to the sky.
The feeling that, for a moment, millions of people were feeling exactly the same thing.

This tribute is for Lionel Messi.

But it is also for each and every player who stood by his side, for the coaching staff who made this story possible, and for all Argentinians who supported, suffered, believed, and celebrated.

It is our small tribute to those who restored our hope and gifted us a joy that will be with us forever.
